BMTV, BMFM & BMCHQ ❧

Blue Mango International was established in April 1996 in Hong Kong and Singapore, with the creation and distribution (to Hong Kong, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand) of its Asia-Pacific Gen-X magazine and CD-ROM title "D'CORE - The Common Order of Rice Eaters"

Blue Mango International was behind the creation of MTV Asia's first website in 1997.  These days, all Blue Mango companies organize and implement the creation and production of new television programmes for all ten of BMTV's ZONES.

Blue Mango International is composed of three companies specifically focused on the following work:

  1. Blue Mango TV (BMTV), Hong Kong, established 1998 - for international diffusion and distribution of television programmes.  BMTV works with two satellite transmitting television stations and has its own dedicated channel.
  2. Blue Mango Film & Media Production (BMFM), Philippines, established 2000 - for the quad-media production of BMTV programmes.  BMFM's strength is in technology support and media production.  And,
  3. Blue Mango CreativeHQ (BMCHQ), France, established 2006 - an advocacy and non-profit initiative for the cultivation, incubation, support and promotion of creative talents and creative projects internationally.  BMCHQ has been an incubated project of Blue Mango International since 2001.  BMCHQ sources, and assists in the support and promotion of creative talents in the areas of audio, visual and technology, and creative projects worldwide.  It works with the collation and distribution of information about the creative talent, conferences and exhibitions related to Art, Culture, Creativity and Design, and organizes promotional projects. 
BMTV television programmes' primary objective for broadcast is on the creation and development of original audio and visual content for Quad Media: i.e.
  • Broadcast;
  • Print;
  • Web / Internet; and
  • Digital Multimedia Storage – CD, DVD, mobile telephony.

WHAT ARE WE ABOUT?

Media. The tool of influence. Powerful. Used in the right way to motivate people in the right direction, sharing cultures, expressing insights, and upholding morals and values.

 Quad Media Plus is Blue Mango’s answer to the fusion of all media:  television, traditional print publications, CD-Rom/DVD, the internet and mobile telephony.  With the use of high technology, its purpose is to further educate, incubate and cultivate talents to serve the creative requirements of an advancing world, particularly in Asia and Europe.

Knowledge. The substance of understanding. Potent. The power that rides the crest of change.

Blue Mango content is the fusion between the Asian and European identity. And the convergence of past and present within the framework of the present culture.

Aside from English, all information is translated into five major Asian languages (Chinese, Bahasa, Japanese, Thai and Filipino) and Four European languages (French, Italian, Spanish and German).

Beauty. The essence that moves the Human Spirit. Sublime. Reflected in color, sound movement, image, form and meaning.

Talent. The supremacy of Man’s expression. Radical.

Blue Mango symbolizes a prism of talent and technology penetrated by the light of an illuminated spirit which gives life to the combination of the colors of various cultures and disciplines.

From this exchange, what is hoped and envisioned is the inspiration and renaissance of ideas between the creative spirits of the two worlds.

Blue Mango’s use of technology allows content to be produced, transmitted or packaged, and accessed so as to participate or create a specific culture that is Blue Mango … a culture than can be presented to the new generation.
